My No. Cruncher is rating a vast majority of the games for this week as "so/so" and that ain't good enough. That means that it looks like there aren't gonna be many plicks for this week; well, SO FAR, cause I got plenty of games to go through yet .

Like last week, I'm starting off with the only play I put in so far and it's another parlay type, ONLY, THIS TIME IT'S A "TEASER, SUPREME". :) DIMES ALLOWS 10 POINT TEASERS (they actually allow teasers with many more pts. as well). I haven't played these in a long time cause IMO these are VERY BAD habits to get into and it throws away everything you learned about playing regular line bets. I THINK I may have played 4 of these in that past and won 3 (3 teamers). I just couldn't stay away for one for this week when I saw Tuesday's game with Western Mich. giving the "worstest" college footsbawl team 20 1/2 pts. and making that 30 1/2 was just irresistable. I think it was somebody around here who wrote that Kent is absolutely terrible, and MAN, was he ever right. I almost lost that opening teaser game but, thanks to a CRUM(my) QB substitution late in the game - Crum could, at least, RUN and that's what he did with a 40+ yd. touchdown that saved the day for me.

It brought me luck last week when I started my post with a parlay that clicked to start off a winning regular parlay, so here's the "mixed sports" teaser I got going for this week... ..

>
Pending 3 Team Teaser (ties lose) Teaser tl 10fb & 7bk
Win 11/8/17 7:00pm College Football 105 Kent State +30? * vs Western Michigan
Pending 11/11/17 3:00pm College Football 138 Syracuse +10 * vs Wake Forest
Pending 11/12/17 8:30pm NFL Football 273 New England Patriots +1? * vs Denver Broncos
>

BTW, it pays just like a regular straight, line bet.

REGULAR PLICKS FOR THIS WEEK (so far) :

Tex. Tech - 7 vs. Baylor

Duke -3 vs. Army
Only 2 so far so I'll support this one here just ito see if a Visitor reads these things . Crunchy and I totally agree on this bet. I do see an Achillies heal for Duke - it's their weak passing defense. But, who cares cause we all know how much ARMY relies on their passing game. LIke an average of SIX passing ATTEMPTS/game with an average of 4.8 STINKIN yrs./attempt. Of course, Dukei knows what Army is gonna do and their nos. suggest that they can suppress Army's rushes enough to slow their HOT streak off a bit. Another good factor for Duke is that they are coming off a bye week and their record for coming off a bye week is 5 and 1 ! :0054
Their newby QB, Daniel Jones, has passed for 1752 definitely NOT SO STINKIN YDS. And take a look at the teams Duke has faced vs. the teams the Knights have faced. There is one downside to this part though - Jones is a bit interception prone. Some of those things are bad luck and besides, he's gonna score in BIG, QUICK STEPS, and Army will be only crawling along with the ball for their scores. One last thing - Duke is virtually injury free.

I'm pretty sure there will be more plicks to come (eeeeew) I hope so.

Adding

Adding

West Virginia +3 1/2 vs. Kansas St.

Ga. Tech -6 1/2 vs. Tex. St.

Wash. St. -1 vs. Utah

Marshall -10 vs. Western Ky
: Bought a pt. to make it 10 cause this one is going in a parlay fosure.

So far, it's very close between Tex. Tech and Wash St. for BESTEST PLICK honors.
Also, I am looking for tt (team tot.) for Arkansas UNDER but last time I looked there was no
number on the board.

May be one or two more plays?

EDITED: Last game I checked out came up with one more:
FIU -9 1/2 vs. Old Dominion

Good Luck

GL today Jim! I forget did you do away with the doggie pick all together, or nothing come up?
Be honest with you, I like Baylor in that game, just a hunch.

Appreciate the visit, JP

Appreciate the visit, JP

Almost 500 views and ONE reply is pretty sad. I notice that this season, that kind of ratio is continuing compared to former football seasons. That is, the most popular, really good posters are getting fewer replies this season and fewer different people replying . I think the answer to "how cum?" might be what's at the bottom of all my posts. I hope those addictive thangs don't wind up killing forums where players used to share their ideas.

I keep posting cause I'm pretty sure I know of somebody whose reading it. Like you (and that doesn't mean I expect you to reply whenever I post something). Most of the times I come here I don't read other posts, sometimes two or three.

Let's see the record for this week:
:0030

3 W's and 4 L's ?

That ain't good at all. How bout this -> 4 parlays and one, and ONLY one, stinkin losah fell in EACH ONE of those mutha jumpas to kill each. I guess that's why the pro bettors tell me to forget them parlays but I keep remembering some really great ones I've cashed at times. And parlay bets are small to win big, relatively speaking. I DO know that the odds are against ya if you start doing 5 or more teamers and VERY rarely a 4 teamer. :nono:

Reply to JP - I still realize my personal betting record has treated me better with backing favorites. BUT, I also noticed that - the results are extremely good for the team getting pts. when one and/or two of the Cruncher's LOWEST rated favorites were well lower than the team above them. That is, say the bottom of the report is something like this... 42, 38, 32, 12, 8. For most weeks - these kinda nos. don't happen. Big jump to 12 and 8 and those two should be UNDERDOG plicks or M.L. plays at nice odds.

W. Virg. was +3 to 3 1/2 when I entered the line in the Cruncher; the line moved the other way to make them a fav. by the time the game started. And they were the lowest Cruncher rated favored to cover. And.... them's were a WIENER :)

Lastly, I don't know what my season record looks like, but I do know that betting heavier on the the one's I mention, " bestest " like for, Tex. Tech and Wash. St. made a me a wiener for weeks that I would have been a LOSAH otherwise because I bet 2 or more units on those plicks. This past week was one of those weeks. And also, parlay bets are for only fractions of a unit. BTW, I made a typo with Georgia Tech instead of Georgia STATE. I counted that bet as a losah. You know that, every time I checked the losing plays Sat,, they were winning and had me thinking they would cover. I missed seeing all the games I played and missed getting that Arkansas tt UNDER, dang it. I'm sure that "10" was a winning no. I had to replace my broken garage door opener with a new one and missed that bet and a lot of the live action today. :(

G.L. to yawl. And thank you again , JP.
