Didn't sheets start off last year something like 10 - 1 ?
He wound up 11-10 and is like around 5 - 19 since that start ?

On the course!
Sheets had a sore rotator cuff last year, and was put on the 15 day.

He has a 4.3 ERA, and plays for a shitty team. That should not be an indictment on him.

He is a very sound pitcher, but only for about 5-6 innings, over all. He doesn't fair well after about 70-80 pitches.

Pittsburgh won't light him up tonight, and that is one reason why you should not take the Pirates tonight. They might just win, but this one is a coin flip, and at the price you need to pay, it is not worth it, IMO.

The under might be worth a look......

For whatever its worth, Sheets is an unimpressive 2-6 with a 5.66 ERA in 10 road starts this year. Overall a career 1-2 with a 4.19 ERA against Pit. Sheets pitched in Pit on June 7 and gave up 9 hits in 6 innings of work. He was lucky to come out only giving up 3 runs. I agree with yyz that Sheets probably won't get hammered, but also think he will not go more than 6 innings.

With the Brew Crew's road record...injuries to Casanova and Jenkins and Fogg getting back to early season form...Giles ability to hit everything Sheets throws at him and my lean against the sweep, I like Pitt alot tonight.

I haven't developed much credibility around here yet....but there it is. GL to whatever you play. The idea is to get the "man" --we are all on the same team!
