i made a case.

You did not post what Miami accomplished. Did Miami have a better run? We have nothing to compare. Therefore, you really didn't make a case.

miami right before davis left?

:SIB

Forget about the USC dynasty argument. USC already is a dynasty. THAT IS A GIVEN!

USC just "might" be on the best run ever. Show me a better 4 year run than PETE CARROLL @ USC? Scary part is Pete Carroll is just getting started.

*Since 2002, USC has 54-4 record!!!!!! USC has won 54 of their last 58 games!!!!!!!!! USC has won 43 of their last 45 games!!!! In 2002 USC had the #1 Strength of schedule. Every year USC plays a highly ranked SOS and plays on the road!

*USC has been to 4 straight BCS bowl games and has 3-1 record with 3 straight BCS BLOWOUTS!

*USC has won 2 consecutive National Championships! (2 AP NC's, 1 BCS NC)

*USC had a 34 game win streak. During the streak, USC set the record for consecutive wins over ranked teams. Let me repeat that. USC HAS SET THE ALL TIME RECORD OF STRAIGHT WINS OVER RANKED OPPONENTS!

*USC had 3 Heisman Trophy winners. 3 different players!

*USC has only lost 1 game in the Pete Carroll era by double digits (13pt loss @ND in PC 1st year). That was 5 years ago!

*USC I think has 50 something consecutive game streak of scoring at least 20pts. NCAA RECORD!

*USC has the nations longest home win streak. 2001 was the last year USC lost a home game. That was 5 years ago!

*USC has dominated opponents with an average winning margin in double digits! WOW!

USC not a dynasty? :mj07:

Chew on this Englishman....

HOW ABOUT USC IS CURRENTLY ON ONE OF THE GREATEST RUNS EVER!

Shocking really that Scooter has managed to turn this tread into one about USC. What is more amazing is how this kid doesn't seem to get the fact that absolutely no one cares about past accomplishments much less want to dwell on them ad nauseum. I find it more than a little disturbing that a person is so single minded on an issue that it has become all consuming. We are all fans but Skippy's homerism is obviously an obsession and his propensity to continually argue the merits of a team that does not even need defending is sad indeed.

Most people go to college, have a great time rooting their team, graduate, start a career and contiue to support their alma mater but realize that there is a little more to life than incesant cheering for a team of young men playing a game.

Grow up a little, Scotty. Life is too short to dedicate your entire existence to the hope of once again being accepted as a volunteer water boy for Petey's boys. That is unless you are the kind that actually likes hanging out in the locker room with a bunch of sweaty half naked jocks. Oh that's right, I forgot that they let you eat lunch with them too. Good times.

BTW, the Trojans are maybe the 2nd best team in the Pac 10 this season so you might want to put down your pom-poms before you over load your ass again like you did last year when you proclaimed that the 2005 Troy Boys were the best team in history.

As I am the one that sarted this thread, I would appreciate it if one of the mods would close it now. I have realized that the biggest "Myth" on this forum is that Scotty is actually mature enough to participate in any discussion that does not center around the University of Southern California.

ill let you research the numbers if youd like. all i know is that miami during that 2 or 3 year stretch was as dominant as any football team in the last 10 or 20 years.
