N.C. State -5 for $500
We've got the home team on Thursday night, with a better quarterback, both receivers coming back, a talented running back, and most of the offensive line returning.
Throw in a good defensive line to pressure a mistake-prone, headcase of a quarterback from SC.
Love the line movement from 3.5 to 5, even though the public has been pounding SC.
I expect lots of Wilson to Spencer early, and a bunch of Baker late. Here's a Tom O'Brien team that should carry last season's improvement into this year against a team that...well...isn't so improved.
Oregon +130 for $300
Once again, I'll take the better quarterback and the better athletes. especially if I'm getting 1.3 to my 1 here. I love what ole Jeremiah can do with the arm and with the legs, and Pac-10 teams have been tough customers early in the year.
I also like the strength of the Oregon offensive line here. No reason to think they won't have their way (at least a little bit) with an undersized front seven.
Quack.
GOOD LUCK!
