Ok, not reviewable....But what should the call have been.....
I'll take a stab at explaining if that's ok...

First off, I've seen dozens/hundreds of times when runners flagrantly running almost on/actually ON the grass and the umps don't call em out..

Second, the runner is allowed to take a straight line path towards the base ~ which Turner DID!
He never waggled out further into the baseline, and you could see it on the replay...
as he approached the base, he seemed to move further to the right to avoid collision/interference..
AND...
His position at the time he's stepping onto the base is on the middle of the bag.. AS he's moving further to the right.

SO...
he did not seem to make ANY attempt to hinder the fielder.. a poor throw into the back of the base runner and an awkward play by Gurriel (fielder) created what should've been runners on 2nd and 3rd.. zero out.
and for those of us on the "over", who knows how many runs they might have scored that inning.

Thankfully, we did get 2 thanks to Rendon

Ummmm, there was no call there. He?s safe and it?s 2nd and 3rd no out.

That's how I saw it as well....It pisses me off the Ump tossed M, the Assistant Coach was trying to move him out all the field Umps had to do was turn and move away.....

They fucked up the call and played BIG MAN to prove their point....Turn, walk away and let the game be settled on the field....:0008

Amazing night

Amazing night

Thanks so much Jord! Always check your plays and sometimes, like last night, they just have a different feel to them--almost like I'm reading tomorrow's paper.

Seriously, I was reading your picks and there was just such a confidence that I felt compelled to tail. So glad I did. That was some seriously amazing capping. :toast::toast:

Cheers to whatever you come up with for G7. (although I am seriously pulling for Nats--that's why I've tried to lay off this series).

Thanks fellas. That was niiiiiiicccceeeee.

I put some Nats +530 before last game, so I'm going a bit lighter.

Tough to feel great about tonight given Max health unknown. Now he's pitching to Gomes too. Stros lineup obviously much better. Both pens shaky. I feel a negativity attached to the Stros, and an insane feel to the Nats.

Max grits it out...

Nats +130 4
+1.5 -165 4
Over 7.5 5
-1.5 +200

F5 +100 4
+.5 140 4
Over 4 5
