no longer the national pasttime and that its losing the popularity battle to football:
i honestly cant remember the last time i was more pumped about a baseball game than i am about the boston/oakland game 5.
the pitching matchup is going to be UNBELIEVABLE (pedro/zito)
boston trying to come back from a 2-0 deficit (similar to their 0-2 comeback against cleveland on the road a few years back)
oakland trying to avoid choking a 2-0 series lead away in the division series for the 2nd time in 3 years.
all kinds of storylines and subplots, plus two awesome teams and two amazing pitchers.
i will not be betting a single dollar on this game and i am completely psyched about it.
for those that say baseball is dying-
:thefinger :thefinger :thefinger
this is what october is all about
