Do you think overtime should be played like it is in the regular season. In other words do you think they should skate 4 on 4.

My opinion is that they should.
3,4,5 overtimes are just too long. Especially if they cut beer sales off after 10 minutes into the 3rd period. What a buzz kill.

Well I don't bet on hockey that much but I will say I did watch the game last night and It was worth every hour I watched it. I like the current format. Who cares if it last 5 Hours. It was exciting as hell IMO. Great saves and lots of checking. That game came down to who put more time in the gym and dedication. Which is the way it should have been.

What I want to know is where did all the dallas fans go? Do they turn into pumpkins at midnight in texas. If your gonna go to a game at least stay and cheer until the end.

they should play 5 on 5 until someone scores, no overtime periods just one overtime until goal. 4 on 4 wouldn't make much difference i think, teams just adjust their tactics. i wonder if they could play over 40 minutes without goal ?

I like the 4 on 4. It keeps the game moving. I know goalies hate it but they like it better than penalty shots. I agree that something needs to change because these long overtime games are rediculous. Whatever it is during the season it should be the same in the playoffs. At the very least it should be consistent.

overtime is fine the way it is. I love watching long o.t. games. nothing is more exciting -imo- i'd rather watch a game go six overtmes than all the other crap on t.v.
