:SIB :nono:

And Olde Stone is a pitch and putt course, cmon Wayne a 91:shrug:

:0corn

Was frustrating--could never get scoring clubs (wedges thru 7) in my hands. Was always driver long iron-escape from rough around green.
Didn't have but handful of shots all day in 75 to 150 yard range where I could spin it--and greens tough to hold then unless you played into the slope.
Is no such word as chip there. one foot off fringe is 3 inch rough that stands straight up--you don't get any grass leaning away from you opps.

Waaaay too much course for me--thats why I dubbed it the course from hell last year.

I went to a few Predators games with the pro there. I'll be coming up a few times next month to play it. I want to get a few rounds under my belt so it will be less embarrassing. And I can guarantee you that I will not play from the tips no matter how much I get pressured!

Brother Dawg--bring plenty of balls--its a bear.
They will send fore caddie with you to locate balls in rough--if they didn't they'd have bout 5 1/2 to 6 hour round average.

Course is a site to behold though. You'll note around greens there are no sprinkler heads (under ground watering sytems. Several restrooms around course all equiped with water and ice despensers with electronic eyes that turn on and off when you put cup in front.

Sounds like I need to take the 3 iron out of the bag and replace it with a weed eater:mj07:

I have played 9 holes since October, don't think my game would take to kindly for chopping all day:scared

They are starting to do a lot of advertising on TV around here now. Heard the course record from the tips is only 70 and that was by Kenny Perry's son.

But we know Agent could break par

average 290 - currently playing to a low single, 2-3 handicap. playing an old R-580...few years old but the shaft is good and its a nasty club...when you get to this level, its all about confidence, not too much technology out there in the last 2-3 years that will add that much yardage. the golf balls have done more for distance in the last decade imo...clubs have evolved dramatically but the pro v's and the newer ones out have made the difference, tour players will agree...

avg drive for me is 260, and thats with a 3 wood. Have a short, compact swing so if I want to be in the short grass I have to hit 3 wood. The driver I carry hasn't been out of the bag in the last 2 years--should just pull it and add another wedge...

Stumbled across the Big Break on the golf channel the other night; those are some fine looking ladies on that show.....:D

I can hit my driver about 320 but I have no idea where its going. I took it out of the bag earlier this year and hitting the 2 iron off the tee. I can hit it around 260.

One of the smartest things I've ever done. Now my round of golf is boring because I never get in trouble. If you can't hit your driver, try playing an iron or 3 wood off the tee....
