The confusion on this point is what happens on games where the road team is leading by EXACTLY 15 points?
I have posted these angles repeatedly at different times. On this angle, I have written the caveta in different ways:
>15 (means greater than 15)
15 or more points (I think I wrote it this way early this season, but that was sloppy -- it should be more than 15 I believe)
16 or more points (I think this is the original caveta from 2001)
I was sloppy on the exactitude of this angle since I've printed three different caveats (it's very rare for a road team to be leading by eactly 15 points -- so this is the first time it's happened).
What I will do is return to Jack Granowski's data (from 1982 through 1998) and check how he identified the caveat (Note: He should be credited with identifying the caveat). If he says 16 or greater, I will use that rule. If he says 15 or greater, I will use that rule. I will also correct my record, accordingly.
The point is -- the same logical explanation would seem to apply to a game where one team leads by 15 versus 16 points. But, I'll let Granowski's original findings be the determinig rules on this.
