I remember in high school grabbing the paper to see how the 3 M's were doing. (Maravich, Murphy (my favorite), and Mount).

A few short years after that duo played at Pordue a local kid Alan Hornyak and Jim Cleamons teamed up at OHIO STATE. Hornyak was the better college player, but Cleamons was far more successful in pros. Hornyak ended up being a coal miner, probably just recently retired.
