Great Irony in the fact Mounts pro career was short while his other guard at Purdue had a longer and more successful ABA career if my memory is right.

A few short years after that duo played at Pordue a local kid Alan Hornyak and Jim Cleamons teamed up at OHIO STATE. Hornyak was the better college player, but Cleamons was far more successful in pros. Hornyak ended up being a coal miner, probably just recently retired.

I saw Rick play for the Pacers..

just a little for Purdue..I believe in the tourney..


truly a great shooter..
