yeah, I posted that a week or so ago. Amazing!! Snopes says they are asian carp, but the clip I saw the guy was speaking Portuguese, so I assumed it was Brazil.

You were right about the Portuguese, Six Five. If you'd read the entire Snopes article you'd have read:

"The video is a shortened version of a longer clip that originated on the Brazilian Pesca Rond?nia web site. ("Pesca" is the Portuguese word for "fishing," and Rond?nia is a northern Brazilian state in the Amazonian region known for its great fishing rivers.) The footage was taken in the Guapor? region, on a portion of the Mequens River inside the Porto Rolins Park (a protected conservation area) where fishing is forbidden. The jumping fish shown in the video are matrinx? (Brycon cephalus), a Brazilian fresh water species. "

Also further in the Snopes article there was a link to a video of the
Asian carp filmed on the Mississippi river. (Sorry, I tried to hyperlink it but either the site or my computer is experiencing issues.)

Pretty interesting fish!

Well sad enough you can see how they were able to escape from the hatchery,Who was the idiot that thought they could be contained,Now thier a threat to original species in the river,We have a resevior a few towns over fishing by water company permit only,Boat rental w/eletric motor optional,Really enjoy this place, largemouth, laketrout, rainbow, rockbass, pickeral,an sunfish which all kids enjoy,Anyhow some other idiots got togather and thought it would be a neat idea to introduce WALLEYE  Soon i suspect are other species of fish will be on the decline :hitwithro
