2006 Golf Forum Recap

Long overdue, I know ... but it's finally here: it's time to take a look at how the golf forum fared last year ...

If someone had staked 1 unit on each of the plays posted in the golf forum in 2006 they would have recorded a profit of 718.76 units

And if someone had staked 1 unit on each of the plays in the golf forum over the last five years, they would have recorded a profit of 2,183 units

Actually, IO, I will bet you (pun intended), that if people followed my approach to gambling over the past several years, 95% of those following me would have more money in their pocket than they do now. As far as percentages go, no one can beat that number.

You're telling me that, over all, you have made more money than you've lost from gambling? If so, then you outta quit your day job and move to Las Vegas.

Somehow, I think most people if they are honest will show a red number. As long as its for fun, then I don't have a problem with it. However, one can easily get caught up in it.

My success has only been over the last year or so. I consider money gone as the cost of education. I can only say I really got serious about the time I started posting here. Before then, money burned was really no big deal to me (single) and the income I have. As far as working, I'm hiring someone currently to run my little pig market and it's employees so I can direct my attention to other things. I just need to find the right body to handle the show and it's onward and upward.

I think I know how to ride this bike now. Like I said, we'll see were I'm at at the end of the year. I could easily burn off what I've attained to this point. But I doubt that will happen.

As you inferred, most have no business gambling. And it really has nothing to do with education. And I still have much more to "learn".
