I do everything anti-Obama, I turn my thermostat to 72 at my house, buy old school light bulbs, whatever he wants me to do I do opposite:shrug:

he wants me to buy a hybrid, I buy a big gas guzzling SUV...and to boot I am not buying a vehicle from a company that took government bailout money

I like freedom to make my own choices, I don't want or need government making them for me

way to be patriotic there Hedgie!! Our country needs more like you. If he wanted health and a ban of all guns for the country would you shoot yourself in the temple with a .357 snub?

Found On the Road Dead....and good luck putting 200k on that:142smilie should ride like a box after the first 75k.

Rik:
I venture to ask HOW LONG did it take to put 200k on that FORD? Then let us know how it rides and HANDLES

GM sees US auto sales growing by 2 million in '10
Associated Press, 08.28.09, 12:29 PM EDT

NOVI, Michigan -- An executive with General Motors says the company sees U.S. auto sales growing by 2 million next year.

General Motors ( GMGMQ.PK - news - people ) Co. Vice President Brent Dewar says GM is projecting the U.S. Market will end 2009 at 10.5 million vehicles sold and grow to 12.5 million next year as consumer confidence improves.

He says August sales for the Chevrolet brand were strong but there will be a payback in September. The government's Cash for Clunkers program definitely pulled sales forward from later in the year.

He says the program boosted sales for smaller cars. But he says new product sales such as the Chevrolet Camaro muscle car and Equinox crossover vehicle are continuing to be strong even after the program ended.

Brilliant! Everything Obamba touches turns to shit! Poor GM. :sadwave:

GM?s Epic Fail on eBay

Turns out Obama?s first big GM marketing push with eBay is an epic failure.

The pilot GM eBay program, currently being tested at 225 California dealerships, has not generated substantial sales to the disappointment of GM executives

GM dealers have posted 16,000 new vehicle listings, but sold only 45 vehicles through the ?click & drive? promotion. And while the first four listings are free, eBay charges $20.00 per vehicle for an eBay motors insertion fee?or in GM?s case, $360,000.00?which does not include the successful listing fee changed after a complete transaction.

In any case, it is safe to say GM lost a lot of money with their test run in the auction space.

How much in town?

Just curious, Many commercials brag "22 MPG on the Highway" fail to mention the likely 11 mpg in town....
GM is notorious for not mentioning City mileage..
