Fordham over-Fairfield ****
Trying to capp two teams that are 2-6 and 1-6.Kinda tough.But Fordham despite there 9-40 or something non league away record are the better team tonite.
Dunston the 6'8 A-10 rookie of the yr is starting to play.J Anderson is one of the better wing players in the A-10.Whittingburg teaches defense and they contest everything.Rams are coming off Vir win and I think they win this pounding the ball inside.But the Rams don't have a real inside threat besides Dunston.But the Stags have no one.O'Sullivan was a little threat but he's out.Stags two leading rebounders are Todd and Hann.They are 5'11 and 6'0.Both avg 4 bds.Carter and Bell the 2 fds avg 3 bds each and are both 6'4.
Staggs can shoot the 3 esp Hann.
Rams loss to Iona by 1 and Siena by 8.Stags have played better teams in losing to Prov,Iowa,St Joes and Georgetown.Loy md beat them last week.
Rams have a little more talent and play better defense.
Cincinnati minus over Ohio **
Kats are the better team.White and Hicks inside will be to tough for Bobcats.I watched Ohio vs Marist last week. game ended in controversy.
Ohio was up with a few minuts to go.Marist came back.The line was Ohio -4. With 10 seconds left Ohio was clingling on to a 2 pt lead.Marist pressure defense got them back in the game.Ohio was inbounding and Ohio appeared to get a 5 second violation.Ohio player called timeout right on the 5th second.Ref's blew the whistle,confusion...was it a timeout...or 5 second violation..Suddenly the trail officail was blowing his whistle also.He called a holding foul on Marist away from the ball.Replays showed a little bump but the ref helpled his other two buddies out because of the confusion.Terrible call...and marist was the home team.
The Bobcat hits both FT's.It's a 4 pt lead.I have Marist so it's a push if it stays at 4.Foxes dribble down,miss with 4 seconds.Ohio player throws a football pass the length of the court to another player basket hanging.The Marist players plays no defense as the Ohio player takes a layup hook shot at the buzzer uncontested.Buzzer went off and they gave them the basket.Ohio wins 69-63.

Well, Kats will eat the Bobcats tonite.It's a revenge game for me. Bobcats do have some players.Fears looks good.Green and Williams impressed me.But this isn't Poughkeepsie and they were lucky to win there.
