NFL week 3 home team after 2 roadies

28-14 ATS play against HOME TEAM

system says: dont play Pats or Texans

so in my infinite wisdom, I had already teased KC -1 to Pats -1/2

every tout sheet Ive seen this week is calling for Houston to cover or win SU--I dont see it, sorry, KC is now AFC fave 4/1 .. andre johnson for texans 13 catches, is looking for ROY and Hou def. better but stopping Chiefs O easier plotted than executed

Tho it is a must type game for Jets, didnt Vinnie play vs Pats week 2 LY at home and lose 44-7? OK, I like this Pats team albeit the emotional blowout in Buff, but they bounced back nicely and toyed with punchless Eagles ... Just dont see them losing at home, Jets havent shown any O themself, Bellycheck should scheme well

Be careful. Priest Holmes is questionable for this week. I think he'll play, but there's a whole lot of talk about cutting his workload to keep him healthy. Lot of KC folks upset that he was still in the Pittsburgh game with 5 minutes left and up 14 points.

I have been KC fan since I was little so a bit biased, but here is my take on this game. Yes HOlmes is questionable and yes Texans beat a good Mia team. However, no one in thier right mind can compare Miami Off to that of KC. No question Holmes makes the Off click, but Miami doesn't have passing threats like Gonzalez, Morton, Kennison, and a surprisingly good Boerichter. In pre season I was rather impressed with Back up Omar Easy and his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Texans Def is good but is it as good or better than Pitt? To me it will all be about the how good the KC defense is. They seem to much improved and I believe they have 8 sacks in the first two games, and KC is continuing their trend of causing turnovers. In fact the secondary that got torched regularly last year is tied for league lead in interceptions, and the defense is 8th best in scoring giving up only 17 pts per game avg. That include keeping a Good Pitt offense to 13 pts last week. (1 TD scored on int return) Houston is only averaging 15 pts on Off and gives up 25 avg on Def. kC Pass Def still giving up lots of yards but not many pts, and most of those yards have been junk yards late in games that were blowouts. The Chiefs are getting pts from all three facets and bottom line is if the Def continues to put pressure on QB they as many, or more offensive weapons as the Stl team that Vermeil coached to put this one away early. It will be a real test for KC though, but I think Vermeil has the players believing there is something special about them this year and they are playing like it so far.
