Being laid off may not be that bad. I have 3 good interviews over the next week or so at senior level type stuff with a decent kickup in pay. Attempting to take off until Feb 1 and live on severence and unemployment. Hell it may not be that bad!

I'm in the same boat ace!
I got laid off on Aug. 2 and played golf for the first 45 days cause was on payroll till Oct. 2 and now get severance so looking for a job now. Wish I didn't have to though, having alot of fun while I have the chance! Leaving for California till Mon. this afternoon! Hope the weather is nicer that the rain we have had here the past couple weeks! Anyway I know how you feel and good luck with your picks!
