Yes, i'm on Devils. I will take every game Devils -1?.
I am not underestimating Mighty Ducks chance to win this
series or a single game. They just haven't realiced themselves
that they can not win the Cup, they will tonight.
Goalies:
in my opinion, Brodeur has played good but he hasn't been magical yet, we all know that he can be. I hope that this short
break before finals haven't given him too much time to think his situation with personal affairs.
Giguere has been as good as he can but we know history and we have seen Vanbiesbrouck and K?lzig. Every run has it's end.
Defence
Devils, more experienced = less mistakes in though spot.
Ducks, i see Ducks defence as a cutting edge of this series:
they play nice system but when it brakes down they are helpless.
I think Devils offence has more imagination and problem solving attitude in tight situations, we saw that in last game vs. Ottawa.
Offence
both teams can score with four lines but i still would like to give
edge to Devils more creative offence.
total of that bs. above: where is Ducks strongpoint over Devils ?
stats that cought my eye:
in last ten Ducks have had only twice more PK:s than
opponent ( Devils four )
but Devils had 5 games with 2 or less PK:s, Ducks two
Ducks have had slightly better PP but Devils better PK ( wich i think is more important )
season: Devils have allowed 23.0 shots/game , Ducks 30.7
Devils have shot 31.7 shots/game , Ducks 27.1
after all, stats are pretty close but
I JUST CAN*T FAWKING SEE DUCKS WINNING THE CUP
peace
:thefinger
good luck NJ backers and hopefully we see as entertaining
hockey that we have seen so far, after all it's been good hockey year.
