I would really love to reply without having to make a disclaimer but present company has me rethinking that.

You know what, he called me out. Then I'm at the bar enjoying the bears victory, next thing you know my debit cards gets denied. It's him. You know it isCris, I've asked you nicely via phone, IM, Email and Carrier Pigeon to let it go.....If you continue I'll have to ban you from this Thread.....Again, please let it go.....:0008

I have a gun sitting in my lap as I type. It's never killed anyone and I work with them all the time. Why should guns be outlawed? The bad people that have guns kill not the gun itself.(hmm sounds like your pit argument FDC)
Why won't you stay on topic? I know why......because you don't have a sound argument.
I'll give you this FDC- you're a smart dude, and you are right on here more than you are wrong. But you are really wrong on this one. To the point where it's really dumb any of us debate you on this topic because it's so open and shut it's ridiculous.
Ummm a genetic "predisposition"? Really? So scientists have identified the gene that carries the aggression trait? When did this happen? I missed the announcement and oddly enough there is nothing written about that in the volumes upon volumes of periodicals I get every month on the subject. Could you forward to me or post those findings for me and I'll immediately start killing them all off, for safety's sake of course. In the meantime I'll work on Mike Vick's complete exoneration. Who knew choking the life out of an injured dog for losing a fight you forced the dog into was doing the world a favor. It's the FDC way, duh. Pontificate, pontificate, pontificate. Drown out any semblance of an argument with a diatribe that runs on 8 different tangents. Blame the owners of the dogs when they have been genetically bred in the past for violence. Just like some people have a genetic predisposition to getting Alzheimers, or cancer. Pit bulls have a genetic predisposition towards violence. And golden retrievers don't. Or....wait, only the pit bull owners are irresponsible, actually there has never been an irresponsible golden retriever owner in history. And of course you will take my Alzheimers reference and ask, "so saint by your reasoning we should put down people who get Alzehimers. How do I know this? Because every one of your arguments is the same. I'll give you this FDC- you're a smart dude, and you are right on here more than you are wrong. But you are really wrong on this one. To the point where it's really dumb any of us debate you on this topic because it's so open and shut it's ridiculous.

That's fine saint, but you're wrong. You're insinuating that every single pit bull type breed has a genetic disposition to be aggressive and you're absolutely 100% incorrect. It's not true nor is there any evidence to support your claim while there is mountains of evidence to support the contrary. I wouldn't make any further posts on the matter either if I were you. You're wrong.Your question is proof you have a basic understanding of the topic at hand. One does not need to have an exact gene located in order for something to have genetic implications. Just like labs are bred to minimize hip and eye issues, etc. Or...just like parents who are congenitally missing permanent lateral incisors have children who are genetically predisposed to have missing permanent lateral incisors. The fact that the actual gene has not been located is meaningless in whether or not the disposition is present on a genetic level.
Dogs are continually bred for ____________. Different dogs, different traits. All comes down to genetics, and environment of course.
You're wrong. End of convo, my last post on the topic.
