I posted on this commentary in the other thread Charles. You didn't teach me a damn thing, and I feel very comfortable handling the situation - and you. I can probably do it without name-calling (although I do get mad at times) and saying that if you don't agree with me you are ignorant.

As for Clinton's quote, I'd like to see the entire speech Clinton was making before I see it's context, but on short response without thinking too deeply (in the tradition of the current President)...
I agree Saddam threatened the well-being of his people (as do MANY dictators and tirants in the world), not so sure he was a serious threat to the peace of his region nor the security of the world. In the one real foray he made against another country (Kuwait) he was immediately beaten back by a strong coalition of countries that agreed he should have been stopped from attacking another country and his future capabilities were essentially wiped out. In some ways, however, yes I can agree with all of the comment, if that helps you.
Does that mean that Clinton - or I - think that his country should have been attacked by us when we did this last time? Obviously not.
How's that?
