yeah i know most people have but Francis ran a red light and that is how people get killed.....it happens all too often and sorry to say this but they need to start throwing the book at people who drink and drive....one of the worst things anyone can possibly do and most people don't think twice about doing so.....

Innocent until proven guilty. For all you know the guy had some cough syrup. I'm sick of pro's being nailed in the media for minor incidents (i.e. marijuana).

Thug? One hellish amount of "thugs" going home from all these ball games we enjoy so much. Especially football. Oh, that's right, I forgot, everyone had a des driver. "Thug" I don't think so, stupid maybe, (alcohol is good at making ya stupid, really f**ked if you're dumb to begin with)

P.S..Bellasari(sp)would be considered a "Thug" too, correct?

i think there are mitigating circumstances in this case. He's with the Rockets, after all....I know there are probably quite a few jurors in Houston who wouldn't convict based on what he's going through.

In all seriousness, he should be dealt with as anyone else would.

havent ever met the guy so i cant call him a thug..agree with stupid though, i dont know if the sheer adrenalin one derives from driving drunk is able to offset all the perks of being a superstar millionaire athlete...should invest in a good driver--just not the one konstantinov used in detroit..cant condone the behavior but in this day and age nothing surprises me anymore, must be the smoke talking!
peace

Let me say I don't condone(or do)drunk driving. THAT said, I sure as hell must have stumbled on to a very intelligent, tee totalin' crew here. Have ya been to a game? Have ya seen the parking lots? WTF? Get real, like it or not thousands and thousands do it everyday(not just "THUG" millionaire athletes). Unless you want to impose a SERIOUS penalty for doing it (DUI) get over it. Some country's have the death penalty or something VERY extreme, wow, guess what, 1 execution in the last 8 or 9 years. I'm babblin' ...LATER THISclose

If it was me, and I had his money and notoriety, I would just rent a limo on those nights I felt the need to party. That's the part I don't understand about these guys. The limo would be a lot cheaper than the lost income, fines, bad press, etc.
