i'm right there with you. why in the hell did baylor take bere out when he is pitching a shutout. i could see taking him out for the 9th but the 8th. these managers try to manage too much, and it comes back and bites them in the ass.

Was watching baseball tonight on espn and I herd that Baylor does not like to leave pitchers in after they have thrown a 100 pitches. Thats why he yanked Bere. Bad thing is he was pitching a gem of a game. I just have a question will Baylor pull this crap if they are in the playoffs??

i dont know about you, but i am thinking the cubs, now with the moves they made will be way overpriced the rest of the year. i think i may put them along with the phillies, dbacks, twins, and braves as the go against teams the rest of the year. what do you guys think.

I don;t know about that Sdi. What really gives me the red ass is that Bere was pitching a 3 hitter going to the 8th. It seems to me that his stuff was on today (i was not able to follow the whole game)so why not pitch him in the eight. If he loses he loses. I have seen this crap all season a pitcher with good stuff going into the 8 or 9 inning gets yanked and the reliver blows up. Just like you said sometimes a manager over manages

i agree, just got back from the game. What a joke...

If you are going to take out Bere why not bring in the stud (Farnsworth).

Two games in a row.......
