ravens sign steve smith...i know he`ll be 35,but boy does this help flacco...we needed a guy to fill the slot receiver position and we have a guy who`ll need no coaching or prepping...he`s plug n` play...
torrey smith finally gets some help...pitta`s had an entire offseason to heal his hip....this helps the ravens offense immeasurably....
i was looking at carolina`s receiving corps last year and aside from their tight end,smith didn`t have a ton of quality help....and he`s probably playing with the best pure thrower he`s ever played with...
it also means that the ravens won`t have to commit to a wide receiver early in the draft...opens things up for the front office to actually take another need or just get the best guy available...
