I will read through the healthcare article more indepth - On first perusal I really felt like you could substitue Internet Gambling for the word Health Care and substitute Container Scan Law for Stimulus Package.
The two are similiar in the fact that they will piggy back a bill - Have not faced scrutiny because of "bigger" issues. Although, I think all would agree that the health care item is a more significant item than the internet gambling law.
Unfortunately your blogger comment is spot on. It really is hard to fathom that some of those elected (Both teams) do not read completely through a bill before voting on it.
