Why was the photo opt of Mr Bush today shielded by a ring of buses. Just to hide the protesters. What are they afraid for some Americans to see. That is just plan wrong. And I dont care who the Prez is. We should always be alowed to gather and be seen for good or bad. People died for those rites. And besides when did Mr Bush get that concerned about Blacks. Last week it was Mexican. Im sorry but I do hope more people see this as election year gimmicks. And he might not be the only one. We will have to watch and see.

Are you kidding its politics and election year. Any incumbant President has to do this or not be re-elected. Bush aint stupid.
I think they kept the protesters away because there is a danger to the President from people like this. Otherwise they would have to search everyone of the protesters and that would cause a big stink.

djv, man it seems you need to loosen up a little on this obsession you have with liberals vs. conservatives, or democrats vs. republicans.
Petty things like this just don't seem right. We have a President that is dealing with issues that are at the highest level while you are wanting to call attention to something like this.
Your passion is obvious and could possibly be better utilized helping some local charity or something.
I don't mean to be critical, just saying what popped into my head when I read this.

Joe you never want even the small things taken away from you. Or the next will be biger ones. And I dont give a chit whoes in office. There all screwing us from Wash DC. Only way to stop it is makes sure we put term limits on all. We only keep a prez for 8 years. Should be good enough for all other offfices.
