So. Cal
im playing them based on the ddd rushing system

i think fresno st will have success rushing against lsu that will limit the time of possesion for lsu - and add a couple of points in thier favor to help them cover

and i really dont base my capping on if team a beat team b beat team c logic

this program has a history of gearing up for these kinds of games. in fact, it seems a lot of people around the fresno program now think that mentality has worked against the bulldogs in terms of being a good team in the wac. theyre so focused on scheduling "anyone, anytime, anywhere" that they get sky high for teams like oregon, usc, and lsu ... only to let down against the latechs and colorado states. they are nowhere NEAR 30 points worse than hawaii. in fact, on a neutral field in a vacuum -- they are definitely better than hawaii. but right now theyre mindfu.cked and its having a negative snowball effect that keeps on building and getting worse each week. they are losing games they have no business losing. but i wouldnt put it past them to nut up for one game and play lsu very tough, because they are already done in the wac. this might as well be their bowl.

Nicely stated, and I absolutely agree with everything you said...

honestly lmm, how do you get that fresno is a system play of mine and that i think they will have SOME success running the ball as "Hawaii has a better offense than LSU"

I do not fall for the team a beat team b beat team c arguement that you are making.

If LSU lost to florida by 20 that lost to Aub by 10 that lost to ark by 20 that lost to SC by 30 who Fresno St only lost to by a TD last year. How do you not figure Fresno beats LSU by 63?

Reminds me of last weekend with Missouri/TA&M......everyone thought just because Missouri beat TXTCH at TXTCH and TXTCH beat A&M at A&M then of course.....Missouri would beat A&M at A&M. Not the case as we all know....."any given Saturday"......

That is a lot of points for Fresno...I think the azz whooping they got last week has that line inflated, but they do have a piss poor defense which worries me against LSU on the road..., BUT I can guarantee Pat Hill is going to have those boys runn'n hard this week in practice after giving up those horrendous stats to Hawaii last week...I can definetly see them covering this huge number.....probably make a small play on them later in the week....

FYI...Fresno is 1-9 L/10 ATS!! :scared

The last time Fresno covered against anybody was last year!

50-42 v USC in a game they threatened to win for 3 quarters.

This year, oh-fer.

Exactly! LSU is this year's version of USC for Fresno. I'm from the area. I think 33 is a lot to give Fresno. This IS their bowl game. They WILL play hard I believe. I also agree with everything gman2 stated above. I will add that Fresno is starting a brand new QB with some of the best high school numbers in US history. But he is short. Came in last week and threw for over 200 yards. Something that hadn't been done all year. So maybe the team rallies behind him....Good luck

Money keep in mind when playing a huge favorite at home. The home team dresses out everybody and NCAA Rules only allows a certain number of players for traveling teams to travel.

It is better playing a huge favorite thats travelling than one playing at home.

Well thats how it was when I played. I am sure it is still the same now

Just a little tit bit. Have you ever seen Hawaii's offense lately? I would definately put it in the top 5. Brennen is legit, Bess looks to have alot of promise, Ilaoa is averaging 1.18 broken tackles per carry. And their O-line is steady. Hawaii will run the table the remaining of the year. Not saying much as their only test is oregon state and Purdue, but still, you'll see them at their own bowl game.

I feel Fresno is a strong play this weekend. The over also loks solid. Tigers are geared up for Tenn w/ revenge in mind, and could care less about the Fresno St Giant Killers.

Soft teams have gained the bulk of their yardage vs LSU from the middle of the 3Q on. Zona, Tulane, Miss St, and Kentucky each moved the ball well in the late 3Q and the 4Q. By the 2nd half saturday night, will likely be looking ahead at a bye week and the Vols. This game may well be and up and down affair in the 2H.

Agreed since I will be watching the game I will probably bet the OVER as well.

Fresno State: 11-2 ATS off BB conference games
LSU: 6-21 ATS at home off 3+ conference games
