I don't think we will see the ump crews that we saw in the first two games. Up to this point the strike zone has been consistant in all four series. This will be the perfect spot to widen the zone just a little and that will be all it takes to make the pitcher's look better than most are expecting. A wider zone will benifit Bos and NYY from a pitching standpoint. Both Arroyo and Brown will be helped more than Escobar and Silva. A lot has been made of how well Ana has hit Arroyo this year but in both games he had Marsh and Kellogg behind the plate and they can make good pitchers look like they should still be in the minors. Bos won one of those games and the bp gave away the other. In a low scoring game I will still go with Bos' hitting.
Even with a wider strike zone I think Brown will still be a disadvantage. The difference in this game will be Minn's speed. I'm not sure we'll see the wider zone in this game but I feel pretty sure Minn will put more people on base and speed kills in any sport. If they use a wider zone that means less home runs and this also plays in Minn favor. Not sure how to play the total but like Minn.
Going with
Bos - 160
u 9' (got 10 last night)
Minn + 140
A high scoring game fav Bos even more.
Good luck everyone
