Well...just got back from the state fair.
Here is what I figured out today:
after 1 corny dog, 1 turkey leg, 1 sausage on a stick, 1 cotton candy, 1 roasted corn, 1 gyro, 1 funnel cake, 15 beers, and 1 wild ass twisting and turning ride
the state fair makes me feel like crap.
On to bigger and better things...
updated record:
straight plays (3-0-0) +4.5 units
parlays (1-0-0) +1.5 units
total +6.0 units
Gonna play the following:
Colorado - .5 - 220 (330/150)
Home teams in the first game of the year are kicking ass. the record so far is 11-0-1 over the past two nights. Colorado is good enough to continue this trend. Plus, after seeing Chicago's "inspired" performance against Minn. two nights ago (when Minn was missing key players), I don't think this is the game that is going to buck the trend. Heavy juice, but I feel comfortable laying it.
Pitt/LA over 5.5 +120 (125/150)
Two less than stellar defenses with key injuries on the defense for LA. Getting +120 on the total...i'll bite.
Good luck to all.
