A lot of screwy lines today so it looks like I'll be a totals player today. One game that jumps off the board as being screwy is Tor/Chi. I see no way Tor can't cover this line. That's the problem. Unlike yesterday's Atl game which I said had the line dead on and Atl was playing better ball, (Ind players had someone looking over them last night and got a push or winner depending on the line they got) this line is 3 to 5 points low and, since Carter went out, there's no question as to who is playing better. Vegas has been off on the line 6 straight so why are they making such an obvious mistake as this and why is the line falling? What makes Chi dangerous? They have a lock on the ping pong ball race. They only have 3 home games counting tonight and 3 good showings at home will sell tickets next year with a lottery pick or top name players they could trade for. As long as they have a 2 game cushion with the ping pong balls they will be dangerous so watch yourself. I would love to play Tor but think I'll just watch that one. Here's where I'm at on my leans at the moment.
Ind +1 adv and o, Char o, Hou +1 adv and u, Chi o, Utah u, Sea o, GS o.
With no Iverson or Claxton who is going to score for Phil? There again, it looks too damn easy but I still might take a shot at Det unless I find a reason not to.
