Providence will put an end to BC's streak. This line should creep up to about PC -2.5 by gametime. I have seen BC play in person- they are a solid team, not spectacular. Their record is a product of their schedule and their only big time win was in UConn, which as it turns out, is not that big of a feat this season. Craig Smith is solid and Dudley is a good role player but not much else on this team. The public will be all over BC, especially against a team with an average record like Providence, but I think the Friars get it done at home. Anyone else take a look at this game yet?

If you think public will be all over BC why in the world do you think the line will move to Prov -2.5???

To keep the money coming in on BC....I could be wrong, but there is a reason BC is undefeated yet not ranked in the top 5 and it has to do with the talent level of this club

I show BC as having a power rating of 48.
I show Providence as having a power rating of 40 + 4 for home court. = 44.

BC should win by 4.

This system is like all others, not fool proof or 100 percent, but I'm averaging over 50% using this system.

I stay consistent with what the numbers tell me and I win more than I lose. so with BC getting +1, it's a no brainer for me to go with the numbers. Too much is hype is being put in to this one...

According to the numbers, BC should win but I think the talent is even on both sides; the best player on the court plays for the Friars combined with the fact that they have home court advantage- i think you have to give the edge to providence

That is a very very good point. And I did not know that.
My way of thinking is that the Friars best player played his best against that stunning upset this past week. Even the best players do not stay as consistent as the numbers.

BC has "A TEAM" of better players, rather just one man.

True, they are a better "team" but home court in college bball is very important especially for a desperate team like Providence ( just ask Nova) who had high expectations coming into the season..their schedule has been very tough with games against cuse, wake, forida, and bc already...last time they played BC, Providence was up ath the half and if it werent for the freshman Williams going 7 for 7, PC woiuld have won that game...0-4 in the big east coming in, this is a must win if PC wants any shot at the NCAA's

You nailed it right there raiderdude. Gomez is a great player but he does not know how to carry a team. He does not make the players around him better.
