Gotta start somewhere.... The vast majority of plays all season will be one unit unless specified otherwise. Just a couple on opening night to get my paws dirty.

Ball St +7 @ Dayton

Oakland -6' vs Ft Wayne

Ball has some legit talent though a couple of injury question marks for Friday. Dayton is young and undertaking the learning of Grant's system. It's a good time to catch the Flyers.

Oakland gets newcomer Nunn and he can light it up after taking a year off to get his shit together. All Horizon stud, J Hayes is suspended but there are still enough weapons for the Grizz to take care of business here.

Miami Oh / Fordham under 132'

I'm on Fordham -9....

Miami OH from what I can gather really suck. They lost their scrimmage to a D2 team that was 9-21 last year.

Fordham lost a couple guys from last year 2 transfers (Anderson went to UConn, and Sengfelder went to Boise), and Hawkins graduated but they shouldn't be that bad. They got a couple new guys via transfers from smaller schools, and Rose Hill is a tough gym to play in.

I think Miami OH inability to score consistently could result in some big runs that help make it a double digit game.

But I am sure after that analysis Miami OH will come out and win straight up, so we'll see.

Well, to be fair my friend, Maryville may be better than both of these two. You are right, they did go 9-21 last year but early talk of building a dynasty has begun.

Miami lost the freshman of the year in the MAC to transfer and I just can't see where the points come from. Of course, many of our theories about how teams should play will go down in flames in the matter of days. I won't be getting very involved from a real $$$ standpoint for about a month.

I do like the the Rams laying a few as well.

Lets go Pee!

Yeah baby.... I'm pretty geeked up. Fighting the temptation to keep from playing a 10 game card tonight.

Mizz St +2 @ W Ky.

This has the potential to be one of the most entertaining games on the card. W Ky has talent coming in but may have some continuity problems early on. The Bears have guys that can play and may well be the class of the MVC with the departure of Wichita St. I'm Not gulping the Mizz St Kool Aid just yet, but am taking a sip here.

1 to go Pete...

nice homework ...

:0074

Thanks friend but that Martin loss was one for the books. The 9pt dog leads at the half by 15, gets smoked in the 2nd half but scores very late to force overtime. They then go out and get outscored by 11 in the extra frame. Hopefully Peay can hang in there. Decent start though no matter what occurs.
