Friday Afternoon Games

Okay, I love to gamble. Here we go with the early games. I wouldn't play these games normally, but they are the only games on the board until later this afternoon.

Mid Tenn +14.5 for 4* & 1st half +8 for 2*... Not sure how Alabama will recover from the recent tragedy. Mid Tenn did get blown out @ Tennessee, but Bama is notorious for not playing well away from home.

Toledo +1.5 for 4* & 1st half +1 for 2*... Toledo is picked to contend with Akron for best team in the MAC. The Rockets did get blown out @ a solid Misery State team in their opener, but now face a rebuilding Iowa club that doesn't have much after Haluska. A rebuilding year to say the least for the Hawkeyes.

have talked to some people around the toledo team and they seem to think theres something 'different' about this years group - in a good way. this program has had so much talent come through in the last 4 or 5 years that theyve done nothing with. the mac east is loaded but the mac west could be a one-team runaway if (and a big "if") toledo finally plays to their potential. gl destructor.

Thanks G-man, I hope Toledo comes ready to play because they appear to have far more overall talent than Iowa.

Glad to start the day 2-0 and +6*. Adding Northeastern +25 @ Pitt for 3*. Line appears a bit inflated. Only playing the game because it's during the day.

Night Game: Loyola Marymount -3 for 5*... New Mexico State bringing a number of newcomers into their program this season and will take time to mesh. LMU beat a solid Oral Roberts team in their opener.

Va Commonwealth +9
Cal-Irvine +20

2.5* each.
