College hoops has been very up and down for me. Going with the following this afternoon since I have to babysit for a few hours & want the action.

DePaul +9 for 4* - Blue Demons aren't winning many games, but they're keeping them competitive. Clemson didn't play particularly well yesterday and their horrid FT shooting should make it tough to extend the margin of victory. My numbers indicate Clemson should be -6.5 or -7 so DePaul has some value.

LaSalle +15.5 for 4* - The Explorers just scored 117 points their last game while Ole Miss struggled to beat DePaul last night. I'm sure the Rebels will win, but 16+ is asking a lot in a tournament where they'll most likely be tired and facing a team that has a nice rhythm offensively right now.

Hawaii -1.5 for 4* - My numbers show the Rainbow Warriors should be -4 to -5 point favorite. St. John's traveling a long distance for this game and St. John's has lost 3 straight games so a 4th straight seems possible.

Tulane +5 (-120) for 3* - Georgia looked terrible last night and played the LATE game which means they could be tired today. If E. Tennessee can beat the Bulldogs, then I wouldn't be surprised to see the Green Wave beat them as well.

hey DD, fyi, idk how much you can use from those PR-Mayaguez games... news from the clemson side was that they play dirty and don't play any defense. i agree with you about the FT shooting but it's always been like that and they still cover larger numbers.

st. john's has been in hawaii for a good bit and played a good game yesterday against a tough ohio team.

i may agree w/ the lasalle play since they did shoot pretty well vs. PR-M, but i'm not going to be playing it for fear of a letdown performance against a squad that will actually get back on D.

I just looked at your card and saw you have Clemson and St. John's... we'll be going head-to-head.

St. John's has been in Hawaii for a couple days which can be terrible... the last thing on young kids from New York's minds is playing basketball when they're on vacation. Just my $.02.

As for Clemson, I'm not very impressed by them.

I don't understand why there is no TV coverage of any of these games. I mean it would have to get better ratings than billiards on ESPN2

Going to try a middle as Hawaii line keeps going up and I can't find a good reason why it's increasing.

St. John's +4 (-120) for 2.5* - Hopefully Hawaii wins by 2 or 3 points and I hit my middle. I also hope Hawaii is up at half by at least 1 point so I'll win on my first half. Not a big middle player, but a lot of solid cappers backing St. John's & Hawaii is atrocious ATS going 1-5 this season.

I didn't get to listen to the first half but we were outrebounded by Depaul and they had 22 pts. in the paint to our 6. Clemson had many good looks but the shots didn't fall. Mays is not playing again and the game has been physical but only 11 total fouls called. Depaul has faded in the 2nd half in a couple of games this year and I hope the Tigers depth will pay off. I am taking Clemson -5.5.

I was considering Clemson 2nd half, but decided to pass... too bad now as Clemson comes roaring out of the locker room and has outscored DePaul 7-0 to start the 2nd half.:scared :0corn

I at least got DePaul 1st half so I won't lose much on this game, but would like to get DePaul +9:0corn

90-74 Tigers....they jumped out hot after the half. It could have been closer but we shot well from 3-point range and the FT line...I'll take it.
