Yesterday hit my big play w/ Stanford but the smaller ones held me back again going 2-3 for -1.5 units

Season Overall 18-20-2 (-5.75 units)

Favs 7-9-1 (-3.9 units)
Dogs 4-5 (-2.05 units)
Overs 5-3-1 (+0.5 units)
Unders 2-3 (-0.3 units)

Today?s plays:

UIC +4 ? 1 Unit ? Winthrop is still adjusting to its new coach and won?t look like their typical fundamental-selfs until conference play. Collins has an average team at UIC, but his squads are always scrappy and they have shot really well so far. I was impressed with how they handled Bradley at home. UIC has a little more size with VanderMeer and I think that will be a definite advantage in this game.

W. Mich. +1.5 ? 3 Units ? Loyola is not a good team and the Broncos will more than show that tonight, even on Loyola?s home court. W. Michigan is a pretty complete mid-major team imo. They will dominate the boards tonight and come away with a road victory.

Notre Dame -18.5 ? 1 Unit ? Domers should be able to win by 20. Brey typically has his team?s focused early in the year against weak competition to get the job done.

Illini -4 ? 1 Unit ? Another play with coaching influence. Illinois isn?t great on paper, and will struggle later in non-conf play against better competition, but overall I think Weber will do a decent job with this team this year. Getting to the islands early for a game before the Maui tourney was good scheduling. I like the Illini going against a Hawaii team that is still adjusting to their first year coach.

Couple more:

Miami/VCU Under 143 ? 1 Unit ? playing for the second straight day and against much better competition has both of these clubs scoring less than usual today. I see this one in the 130?s.

UConn +9 ? 1 Unit ? Memphis looked pretty sloppy last night. Memphis is definitely talented, but I like the Huskies to keep it close in this prime-time matchup.

VCU & Miami combined to shoot 34.5% and make the first play of the day a winner. UIC struggling a bit early, but they just need to keep it close.
