Rain, rain go away! I'm sitting in my office 5 miles from Wrigley and I don't think there is any possible way they're playing this game today. The forecast is for rain the next 4 days.

We're getting a great bargain with the Diamondbacks
in tonight's game. This team has averaged a solid
6.3 runs per game vs. lefthanders, and Mark Mulder
has not been particularly sharp so far this season
despite his good won/lost record (4.44 overall ERA,
7.36 last two starts). Juan Cruz has looked very good
(2.05 overall ERA), boasting an 0.90 ERA since moving
to the starting rotation. It's tough to take on the Cards
at Busch Stadium, but with a fat price, a strong pitcher
and a favorable setting, we're getting tremendous value.
