2004: 24-17-2

Utah +7.5

League: 12-3 (Av. loss 3.3) away 5+ dog, 1 day rest off 10+ ats loss as away 4- dog. [Utah] (2-0 this season)
5-0 (av. loss 0.2) if opp off home ats win.

League: 3-7 (av. win 5.1) home 5+ fav, 2 days rest off 10- ats win as home 4- fav, when opp off ats loss. [NY] (0-2 this season)
0-5 (Av. LOSS 3.4) if opp was last away.
8-13 (Av. win 5.1) on any rest.
2-7-1 (Av. win 0.6) if opp lost away by 10+ ats.

It has been 6 home games since NY won by more than this margin....Including a 5 point win over Phoenix and 6 over the Clippers, both teams worse than Utah. In fact a 20 point win over Seattle is the only time they have beaten a team from the West by more than this number.
utah have owned NY recently, winning their last 5 meetings SU @ NY by an average of 13.8 points! They are 7-2 ats their last 9 games in NY.
Utah are 7-1 on the road when the total is b/w 170-180 this season and 11-3 in the last 3 years!
Hard to see how Utah get blown out here.

Washington +6

The spread has been inflated by Washington's poor performances on the road. But they have not been beaten by more than this number at home by a team from the East since December 30, some 13 (home) games ago.
In fact they beat Indi 107-96 at home in Jan, and have won 3 of 5 SU @ home v. Indi and lost the other 2 games by 4 and 6.
Larry Hughes is out from that game, and he shot 16 points, but Arenas and Stackhouse are back in and will be looking to perform well infront of a Friday night home crowd.
Indi have been out-rebounded badly recently, 38-56 v. New Orleans. Washington were 40-41 @ NO, and winning the boards will go a long way to deciding this game. Definate edge Washington.

League: 17-9-1 (Av. loss 4.3) home 5+ dog off 10+ ats loss as away 5+ dog. [Wash]
League: 2-6 (Av. win 2.6) away 5+ fav, off 20+ ats loss as home 5+ fav. [Indi] (0-6 since 2000)

Also show Lakers in a great spot here....But I hate playing Laker games....funny things tend to happen!!

League: 12-2 (Av. win 18.9!!) home 10+ fav, 1 day off 4- SU win as away 4- fav. [LAL]
16-2 (Av. win 19.1!!) on any rest. (2-1 this season).

Philli used to get pumped out west due to lack of size, but with Thomas and Dalembert both playing well they have played strongly out West this season. Tough League trend to go against tho!

Also, Sacremento are in a 10-3 League situation (av. win 9.1) BUT it is 0-2 when teams play with no rest.

AND..Cleveland are in a 12-3 situation (Av. loss 0.2), but SA counter with a 5-2-1 spot (Av. win 13.5) so again no play.

Sorry...Bored! Hope these help someone out tho.

Good Luck all

NJ?

NJ?

Got a little bit here on the Nets, caught up...
League: 9-13-1 (Av. loss 10.2) home 5+ dog off 10- ats win as home 5+ dog. [Tor]

League: 11-8-1 (Av. win 7.4) away 5+ fav off 10- ats loss as home 10+ fav. [NJ]
5-1 (Av. win 16.1!) if opp off any ats win.

Very tough to see Toronto winning this game without Carter. Wouldn't touch the spread tho.

Hope this helps you out. :toast:

Also Miami.....

Also Miami.....

No line yet, but I'm guessing it will be around the -6, -7 mark??

League: 11-8 (Av. win 10.1) home 5+ fav, 2 days off 10- ats win as home 4- fav. [Mia]
8-1 (Av. win 15.7!) if opp off any ats win!

League: 8-49 SU (Av. loss 11.7) away 5+ dog, 1 day off 10- ats win as away 10+ dog. [Atl]
3-27 SU (Av. loss 11.1) if opp was last at home.

Miami beat Atlanta 97-79 at home in December with exactly the same team that will take the court today. Atlanta will obviously now be without Rahim and Ratliff who combined for 28 points.
Miami also out-rebounded Atl 54-45, and scored 46 points in the paint to 34.

Atl are 2-8 away v. <.500 teams
Mia are 16-6 after a non-conference game, 10-5 after allowing <85 and 11-5 v. Central div.

I'll be playing Miami - anything under 8.

Got Miami -6.5 (-120) at a UK book :tongue

So after all that, my actual plays are:

Utah +7.5, Washington +6 and Miami -6.5 (-120).

Good Luck to everyone.....esp. caught up with that parlay....I always seem to miss one!

Hard to belive Washington were a point up with 1.40 to play and couldn't cover....Hang on, no it isn't!

Ended up playing Lakers aswell, so a good day overall.

No offence to anyone on Portland today, but was hoping for a GS cover...would have set up a great situation for Boston tomorrow. but anyway....Tomorrow is another (hopefully $$) day.
