Had tickets to the Army-Fordham game....had to give them up...2 years ago Army opened up against Fordham at home...Rams had new qb, and not a very good team...the line was Army -5 over fordham.. Rams are a FCS team...Army should blow them away at Michie Stad...well Army lost 37-35...half the Ram players were non scholarship players...but Rams have Edmonds at running back.....some of you may of heard of him...if you put this kid on the Alabama backfield he is a Heisman candidate....now is is already on that list only in the FCS Walter Payton watch...hopefully the NY Giants draft him..he has great vision,fast,Barry Sanders stutter step....think he scored 3 td's vs Army 2 years ago...has over 5,000 yds..

Army has Bradshaw back at qb....he runs a nice triple option...Army ended up on a good note..upset Navy and beat the the powerful 5-6 North Texas in OT at the Cotton Bowl...Army was 8-5 and had its 1st winning season....Army has 8 starters back on offense...they cut out their fumbles lyr and that helped them big time...Rams will not sneak up on the Nites like 2 yrs ago...but giving Army -18.5 is to much.. Army will have a tough time with Edmonds..he's good for breaking a big one....will return punts and kickoffs...not a big play because don't really know about the other 10 Rams but Army could put 7 players in the box on Edmonds and he will still get through them...
Sam Houston St -3 over Richmond **
Sam last year had the best qb in the country in Briscoe...4,600 yds 57 tds and only 10 ints...Sam scored 59,44,52,63,48,66,56,and 59 lyr...then lost in the finals to JMU 65-7...Sam has a big OL,solid rb's and good wr's...if the OL gives Briscoe protection " he will pick them apart"...Richmond has really a good team..ranked right below Sam is the top 20..solid qb Lauletta..and Spiders new coach went up against Sam when he was at Chattanooga....so he knows the Cats..game is being played in Waco at Baylors field due to the Hurricane...think Sam getting beat bad lyr ending the season come out smoking...
Navy 9.5 over FAU ***
Navy lost their qb Reynolds..but Abby replace him..they just have a system and replace players...sure some are better then others...Navy just wears you down...Kniffin has done a good recruiting job and has a lot of players back...8 on defense that gave up 77 points to Mid Tenn..Fau going against teams with some offense gave up 42 to ODU,52 to WKU, and 63 to KSU....think the Owls have improved but not against a navy offense..think Middies win by 2 to 3 td's..
Washington -27 over Rutgers ***
Huskies are loaded...RU def cannot cover the wr's of Wash...now thats a big problem..throw in qb Jack B...last yr in the 1st 10 minutes of the game he was 6-8 and 3 td's..Nites Db's had no idea what they were doing...Huskies have running backs also that can break through...big OL etc...Rutgers defense was ranked 100th of defense in every defensive category. Rutgers offense is bad...they play hurry up....hurry up for what....3 quick downs and punt...again 3 quick downs and punt...well Jack B loves that...I think the idea is to keep that bastard off the field..but he gets to go in....Rutgers cannot play ball control.. I do understand that..Huskies have Gaskins and Coleman as rb's....stopping them will be hard enough...so the wr's should be open all day..lyr think the score was 24-0 before a beer break..48-13 final....Huskies on the road a little suspect but lets not forget they beat Oregon 70-21 and California 66-27 away...this team could be a final 4 team..and giving any team 27 points when by the 1st half you might be up by that...and Rutgers top def player Turay who was Big 10 sack leader 2 yrs ago might not play and is limited...if Rutgers is down by a few td's rest him...
