Got a few that look very good IMHO. Let's get started!
Florida at ST LOUIS Game 1
Many believe in taking the DOG in a DH hoping to gain a split with a win in one game or the other. This strategy may work, but not for me. STL is dominant at home, especially with MORRIS on the mound where they are 9-2 in his ll starts (1.52 ERA :eek
with the UNDER going 8-3. FLORIDA has a terrible record on the road 22-35, going 5-14 in the last 19, while STL is almost the opposite at home, 34-22. STL just finished a strong series against ATL, a far better team than FLA, taking two of three while FLA was struggling with MILW. I'm playing STL in game 1, and will come back with them in GAME 2 if they lose at the pickem price. CAN'T see them losing a DH to FLA at home, no way. I also LOVE the UNDER in this game. MORRIS is 7-14 OV/UN overall, PENNY 8-10. Both are 1-2 O/U last 3, BUT UNDER is 9-1 in last 10 meetings, including 8 straight, 6-2-1 in PENNY's last nine, 7-3 in MORRIS' last 10, 7-3 in STL last 10 Overall, and as mentioned, 8-3 when MORRIS starts at home. Neither of these guys are receiving much support lately, PENNY having 11 RUNS to work with (2.2 RPG) over last five, while MORRIS has had 15 (3.0 RPG). I look for STL to squeak out a 2-1, 3-1 type win here in the first game, and will play BOTH STL and UNDER, looking for the DOUBLE, but figuring FLA ONLY WINS by shutting out STL in this one, therefore gaining a split at worst possibly.
STL -145 and UNDER 8.5 -120
** Morris is also 4-0 with 1.95 ERA WHIP 1.027 vs FLORIDA. PENNY 0-0 with 2.25 ERA WHIP 1.25 vs STL. Just wanted to add that...
