I am watching the games and I must admit I am a bit disappointed with how teams are playing (Mavs, Pacers) out the gate. I do think the recent T-Wolves run can be something to keep an eye on....

While my Pacers play looks dismal I am glad the Mavericks have made it a game in Orlando. The shooting percentages are lining up where I want them to be for this game but I am worried about the depth of the Mavs right now. Will stick with my play BUT....

The Bucks are winning and not shooting well yet. They can hit the free ones to pull away in the end.
Want Minny and Dallas, but can't pull the trigger and the Pacers suck...

Also... I'm not an NBA expert by any means (I'm really an NFL guy, and then NCAAB), but usually if I watch the first half of a game, I have a pretty good feel for the second half line. In this case, I think the Bucks +1 is pretty solid value. They are playing well as a team, and having been down a good deal early, they've since been more or less dominating this game. I don't like giving points in the NBA, but 3 for the whole game isn't too bad, and like I said, solid value. If you have a book where you can play the Bucks +2 for whatever price (say -140 or so) I probably like that even better.

I started a halftime thread but then hoped in this one so we can stick with this one.
CG is counting guy has pfj said. To me there is no one better than that guy at halves with the exception of maybe RanderCity and of course TJ but I hate to name names because there are so many that are good but back in the day (man I feel old) the halftime team was solid from top to bottom and we beat the books all the time, especially on Friday!
Anyway enough rambling I look forward to your picks and will keep an eye out for them!

rander is def a missed asset. not sure where he's been. i haven't been around too long and just started doing the half time thing. catchin on tho. def a lot of class acts around here and a lot to learn from . anyways...back to businesss and lets get the books :toast:
