Hofstra -1 over NCWilma ****
Hof swept both games 61-52{H} and 69-64{A}...Hof won the battle on the bds {62-47]...they have Kone,Robinson,Allen and 6'8 240 pound Nwakoni...Wilma has just 2 Williams and Reybold..inside..Hof has two outstanding gds in Upshaw and Nesmith both transfered after already graduating.Upshaw at 6'6 has been one of the best gds in the CAA..Avgs 19 pts and in his last 5 games,18,28,33,26 and 20. Nesmith is a good pt gd with over 119 asts.Hof has lost 5 of last 6 losing to Towson and Delaware in close games..they beat JMU by 11 in their last game..Wilma can't score or shoot...last in many CAA stats...but they have played good games despite there record.Lost to Del by 1,beat Towson.They cannot shoot the 3 and rank in the 300's in almost every offensive stat...FT% is 65%..{ but Hof's isn't any better}...Williams is there top scorer but there best gd Spruill has the flu and didn't play in last game...is listed questionable for tonite...even with him I think Hof with there 2 gds and front line win this...Milhalich is the Hof coach and after what happened last yr with all the suspensions,arrests,etc he will do what he did at Niagara all those years...
Brown -8 over Dartmouth **
Brown has Kuadkummensah who is a big inside shot blocker at 6'9 and the Def POY in the Ivy..and the best pt gd in the Ivy in McGonagill who can shoot,pass and rebound..Dart lost its best player and scorer for the yr in Maldunes...Martin has made Brown a winning team the past 2 yrs after being the doormat in the Ivy for yrs...Brown has Harvard tomr so hopefully they stay focused tonite...
Houston +3 over CF **
Coogs won last couple of games...think they give CF problems despite how they play on the rd..
Should never play parlays..
Last nite played a 5 team Conf USA parlay...had one game I had some doubt with MT-UAB..
Was going to make it a 4 team but nooooo. I have to be greedy...Tulsa,La Tech,So Miss,UTEP all covered...Had MT -2.5 over UAB...MTenn wins by 2....parlays suck and I'm the sucker...
Albatross,thanks its ok...Double 2 and Smax thanks...50 cents...was listening to the N Tex-Tulsa game...crazy game...thank god NT just fouls so much...Tulsa was leading and I was comfortable but as soon as I put my feet up..NT comes back ..54-54 with 7 or 8 minutes left...Tulsa up 4-6 pts in the last 5 minutes...then pull away and win by 11...
