Like the saints....missing Wright for the year really hurt them but they have enough depth.
Manhattan -1.5 over Canisius ***
Jaspers at home should win this..

Iona-Monmouth over 160.5 ***
Tough game to capp... Monmouth have beaten much better teams.. Iona lost to Tulsa one of the few good teams they played..but Iona at home is tough...they can shoot the eyes out with the talent they have...but again they play no defense,no help defense,no post d and never get an offensive foul...vs Robinson and co...who can penetrate vs anybody...no question Monmouth will score a lot,and no question Iona will shoot 3's from all over...so will make a rare box play on the over...

these lines are the ones I played with this morning...think the jaspers are now +1.5 and a few other lines.. but i made my plays already..

..I predicted that with the crazy antics of the Monmouth bench someday it was going to cause a problem....at first it was funny and I admitted i laughed esp. the "sixteen chapel " imitating Michelangelo.But now its just got out of hand....these bench players are getting more ink and espn hi-lites then Justin Robinson.....and if any of you have seen this kid play you know what I mean...we knew about Justin all through HS because he played in my section...
The NCAA talked about banning the antics after a few Monmouth games but will wait till next year. I'll bet something comes down this week about bench decor....that was not the main reason why there were problems after the game.. NoCluess and King Rice had problems before so something was already brewing.Then you have the Iona 26 game home streak broken,bad blood among the coaches and the " snake dance" which was pretty funny and original.
I don't mean to be two faced because i did laugh but its a basketball game. I have friends that say its adds to the game and its just taking some fun out of it. But it does take some of the spotlight from the team. King could end this very easy by himself before the MAAC or NCAA regulate it...just walk by his bench and say " end it guys".
I'm sure today there will be a few suspensions for the punch...when the Hawks Jones was going off on the court...his 250 pound mother came out and grabbed his ass....that was pretty funny...she was going to put him in a headlock.
The one great thing about the game was " I was right about the scoring and no defense....lol..think it was 108-102...I am terrible in over and unders...never play them..but its nice when the over was 160 and they hit that already with 12 minutes to play....there aren't to many times when you can put your feet up and relax...
Back today with some games..
