So far doing well, I'll post yesterday's record shortly. One game at the half right now, so let's get started.

NC STATE -4 ** DOUBLE PLAY **

State was favored in this game, but came out sluggish falling behind by 14 in the first five. Came back to cut the lead in half and with them hitting only 2 of 11 threes and 33% from the field, I see them continueing their run and possibly winning this game. Get close is all I ask, lose at the buzzer by 2 if you want, but cover my :moon:

Great start to tourney so far... lost one game on line change by a hook so it could have been even better. I'll take that record any day though. Makes up for my NBA HT plays which I'm done with til after the tourney. Here's the breakdown:

Just missed hitting a six teamer for a bunch of units losiing only with MINNY -2.5. Sad part is, WAGERSTREET had MINNY getting 2.5 (which would have won) when I started the wager, but it was corrected before I finalized it. I played the four above with MINNY & Under and just missed. Oh well, like the start so far.

UCONN Under 71 *** TRIPLE PLAY ***

UCONN is hitting 66% from the field :scared so far and these two have combined to hit 8 of 15 three ptrs in FH. Only 60 shots were taken in FH and at that pace, both would need to hit a very high % to hit 150 in this game. It was originally lined at 134, and although I doubt it stays under that number, I'll bet it doesn't hit 150 either!

I would lean to CFLA in this one although I'm passing. I had UCONN -11.5 in FH and I'm afraid we'll see too many subs in 2H of this one after any increase in the lead. Not sure if CLFA has enough talent to beat UCONN backups, but I would expect a run at some point from them. They only hit 30% compared to 66% for UCONN, but was that bad offense vs good defense, or both!

I'm hoping both and going under....

ST MARY'S -2 *** TRIPLE PLAY ***

ST MARY's turned the ball over and often early on (12 TO's to 4) but came back to make it closer at the half. I have this game Under 128 so I'm passing on the total and hoping to get lucky, but I think OVER is the way to go. ST MARY'S started pushing the ball late in 1H and I think they will continue that and S ILL will let them. ST MARY's seems to have the quickness to get by them, they just need to hang on to the ball to possibly win this game.

OAKLAND +10 & Under 80.5 ** DOUBLE PLAYS **

NC is great, very very talented, but even the TAR HEELS can't hit 72% from the field back to back halves. OAK has proven they are not quitters despite being totally outclassed. I think OAK will continue to compete, and the NC backups, although more talented, will get too sloppy trying to SHOW SOMEONE SUMPIN that will let the lead dwindle down to 24 or so by game's end.

More of a hunch play, but the numbers are there.

NEW MEX -2.5 *** TRIPLE PLAY ***

LOBOS were HOBOS in FH just looking for a handout. Instead, they did the handing out as in TO's and lack of action on the boards. NOVA has had their way with NEW MEX so far and with a huge 23 pt lead, NOVA may be resting more of the regulars later on in this one allowing NEW MEX to backdoor this huge overlay at the half. Who wouldn't have taken NEW MEX +20% before tip-off???? :shrug: See??? Exactly.....

still looking at the total, but it's scary. If NEW MEX plays their game, it goes over, but if NOVA keeps up the pressure, then it's a lock to go Under.... gonna pass and hope my LOBOS are not YO YOS again in 2H.
