well thursday was very good to me, i had such a blast watching hoops and winning. Doesn't get any better... i went 10-4 overall----first-halves i was 1 an 1--i added cuse late and that didnt pan out---i did play them 2nd half---bet it as soon as line came out---it went to 11--they won by 11----doing a good job with halftimes of playing the games i think will go up right away---2nd halves were still my strong suit, going 5 and 1----that has been where most of the profiit is coming from... My biggest regret of the day was not playing murray st 2nd half-- i was so close as i had a 2 point middle--colorado st plus 5 and murray st would been 2.5 for game---murray is a tough basketball team with many quality wins this year... Very pleased with my top 3 picks in indiana, new mexico, and zaga---as i had the most on them... Played zaga 2nd half---thought that was the best play of the day---they clearly were the better team, as wvu stuggled to get a good shot all game. so day one in the books and i got a good lead...I looked quickly tommorrow, there are a few i will be on, but didnt love alot--as i anticiapte my game plays will be less than today---but again will be watching games all day(havnt left the couch today).. so hopefully can have another solid 2nd half day...thats all i got, be back later with plays


oneplay for now---creighton +1.5---this is a public play as why i am playing it now--anticipate pick by game time, so if you like alabama i would wait till tommorrow. I generally dont like to be on the public side, but i do like to be on the right side, and i fell creighton is better, deeper ...creighton beat ealry in the year, iowa by 27,northwestern by 8 and nebraska y 10--all these teams hadnt peaked yet, but 3 an 0 vrs big ten is strong..bama beat wichita st by 10 ealry in year,purdue by 9, vcu by 8, they lose to dayton by 12 and gtwon by 2, kansas st by 13---they have played a pretty tough schedule... But my logic is creighton is a better overall basketball team---they feature the 3rd leading scorer--the question how will he fare against a long and lenghtly bama squad...i think he will be patient and in the end, the 3 point shot will propel creighton to a win...final play creighton +1.5

adding san diego st +3-------------bought half point laying 120----nc st playing better, as i bet them a fair amount late in year, leslie is tough athletic player...Feel i am catching value--opening lline at 1.5 up to 2.5 now---feel this game is going to be tight, san diego st is a tough team with a 27-6 record---with wins coming against unlv, cal, colorado st, byu,air force,tcu,new mexico--lost to baylor by 10, creighton by 2----------nc st had a knack for losing close games, and losing the games they were supposed to win. I like san diego st coach, and their talent level.. I think they are really live today, i expecet them to win... I did 9 brackets, as i have kansas advancing alot, i gave diego st a few wins vrs kansas as they are certainly capable---final play san diego st +3(bought half point -120)

adding flordia/virginia game under 122.5---------really trusting my gut on this on---flordia makes more 3's than anyone, i think virgina knows that and can defend that. But i see both teams matching up even, wont be ez hoops in this one..picked fla in all my bracets but just think 3.5 is alot in this game, and virginia is worth a look.. BUt no play there, sticking with under---final play florda/virgina game under 122.5

adding purdue +2--------still think big ten is undervalued---this game will be a war---i have seen st.marys alot and i love their team. purdue to me is something i look for every year, a team that struggled early but right now playing their best basketball of the year. They had a guy kicked off the team, and now they are starting a 3 guard line-up---and boy can these guys shoot it!! byrd, hummel playing really well..and x factor imo--ryne,smith---this guy can shoot the ball well...dellavedova--is tough and i love this guys game, but honestly i think if smith played for a smaller school he would put up comparable numbers---i think these guys are pretty similar and equal players---Was on zags yesterday, as i have respect for them and st.marys, but purdue is playing cohesive, and really well offensively... i could go on and on but final play purdue +2

fyi--i rarely hedge, i chose to today in the flordia game, had under 122.5---and 2nd half over 66--so had a 4.5 middle---it landed on 64--so even tho i split(lost 2nd half)--i think i made the right move---as it could easily went over--missed a few one in one's---but just funny cause i never hedge--now 0-2 this tournament hedging...
