Buffalo info

Buffalo info

from official site:

"The pressure continues tonight as the Sabres play Florida. Martin Biron will start against the Panthers.
The last time Biron was in goal against Florida was March 15 in Florida and it was a nightmare for
Biron and the Sabres. Florida scored three goals on the first six shots of the game.

"You learn from it," said Biron. "It happens. It happens to everyone."

However now Biron is playing his best hockey of the season. Marty has allowed only three goals
against in the last three games................The Sabres got more bad news this morning. Dimitri Kalinin is sick and will not play tonight. Dimitri
joins Rob Ray, Stu Barnes, J.P. Dumont, and Brian Campbell on the sidelines.

With Kalinin out, the Sabres will have Jason Woolley back in the lineup."

..........and piece in FL paper here on all the Panther rookies who are showing emotional maturity in winning come from behind victories in 3 of last 4.................http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...anther05apr05.story?coll=sfla-sports-panthers

Don Cherry on Jim Rome show this afternoon said NHL needs to get rid of the instigator rule.

"Visor-masked Twerps" high stick and face cut guys "in the dark alleys" he sez--too gutless to fight it face to face. Enforcers can't drop gloves and put a stop to it like the good ol' days.
