pavano has quietly put together some nice outings for the marlins this year. he doesnt get the hype of a beckett, burnett, or penny but he's been effective. with anaheim coming off a slugfest series with montreal where a lot of pitchers were used as well as anaheim traveling again after a long a$$ game last night- i think florida gets this series opener tonight

point well taken. kinda feel like anaheim will be a little sluggish though after a handful of long games with tons of hits and runs in san juan. but youre right- the actual travel distance isnt all that much
