thanks to todd hundley- was able to go 4-0 last night to atone for a poor effort the post before. that sonofab1tch surprised the hell outta me with that 3-run bomb in the bottom of the 8th.

2 units....cincinnati (+140) over montreal
insanity? probably. but no way is zach day a legit 150 chalk over dempster. both pitchers sometimes struggle to find their control, but dempster has far better stuff. at some point, someone in that reds rotation has to step up, take the ball, and give them 7 strong innings to stop the bleeding. if there is a "positive" to the reds getting blown out yesterday, its that boone let haynes "take one for the team" and eat innings up even though he was getting slaughtered. none of the reds top guys pitched. reds have shown no nut-sack the last few games. so maybe im throwing money away- but dempster is capable of a good outing.

twins are really doing it with mirrors to start the season. 6 of their 9 wins have come against the freakin tigers. fact is- minnesota just isnt hitting the ball consistently vs good pitching right now. minnesota looked CLUELESS at the plate in the 3 game series at yankee stadium last week. yankees pitching owned them. twins scored a TOTAL of 4 runs in 3 games (3,1,0) in that series. so yeah the twins are 9-6, but they havent shown the same stuff we saw from them last year. right now, yanks are just the better team, as reflected by the price. twins probably appeal to many as a home dog, but yanks have their number right now

anaheim pretty much dominated 2 of the 3 games in their series last week. just feel like the veteran moyer will adjust and make the necessary changes to shut down anaheim this time around. angels coming off a series where they used a lot of bullpen guys in texas- so if this gets into the pens, seattle should have an advantage.
