I hope u got a good pair of sunglasses. The sunlight is bright, once you emerge from the dark tunnel. If you don't, you need to go shopping....GL

Toronto,

I'm a huge believer in the "Great Detroit Fade of '03," but take my advice and lay off tonight's game. Their losing streak is stretching like a water-filled balloon and it's best to fade the fade until they get an actual win in.

If you look at their six (!) wins post-All Star, Bonderman was on the mound for three of them. Even so, all signs point to an easy Anaheim win tonight, but I just can't believe they're going to go 0-10. This is insanity.

Of course, so is scoring five runs in an inning, getting bases loaded with no outs in the ninth, and STILL losing 10-7. I'm amazed they let Percival stay on after that fiasco. I was intensely pissed they were going to blow the rl win. A guy walks four batters and stays? Crap.

Royler, thanks for the response....always good to hear from new posters and their insights and stuff....

Between you and me, I DON'T think this is an easy win for Anaheim....for the last 2 days i've lowered my units to reflect that fear.....hence only 1/2 unit plays.....

normally i would be hitting against Detroit for 3 units.

but wait, when Detroit wins a game, I'll be hitting them for 3-4 units a game in a 4 game stretch.

gl tonite.

TV,

Detroit is 31-95. And only 11 of the 95 losses have been by one run. Would you go against Detroit the rest of the year on runline & moneyline?

Just wondering.

Good Luck,

TV,congrads on your run.Great job.I just came home from the mall clothes shopping for school. As were leaving JC Penny's my son picks up a black t-shirt with something like

" I BLAME CANADA" "I SURVIVED the BLACKOUT"

My son said " dad I thought the blackout started in Cleveland."
I answered with "Canada was blamed 1st.But it turns out it was some place in OHIO.
But JC Pennys must have gone to print as soon as the electricity came back.
Again congrads on your baseball capping. And I apoligise for the "bottom 48" blaming you guys.

kdogg:

did you ever see that clip of lebron taking batting practice with the indians? it absolutely amazed me that a kid with basketball talent from the gods has NO BASEBALL COORDINATION SKILLS. i mean he's swinging and missing with regularity at 55 mph lobs from a BP coach. you would think he would be like most good athletes- where every sport just comes naturally and picks up things easily. its so weird. he can jump out of the gym, cross you over and make you look silly, runs the floor like a deer............ and cant hit a lobbed baseball. go figure.
