I`m going to take a shot with 2 teams that are the favorites tonight.....In my opinion they shouldn`t be.
No way should the Orioles be favored over the Mets.
The Orioles are garbage at 17-43...2-8 last 10....Guthrie sucks he is 3-6.
The Mets are 32-28.....5-1 last 6.....Dickey has looked solid thus far going 3-0 with a 3.20 era.
Yet the Orioles are the chalk in this game -115.
Keep in mind....The Mets are one of the biggest public plays of the night at 68%.
No way should the Indians be favored over the Nationals.
The Indians are right behind the Orioles as being a garbage baseball team at 23-36.
Yet they are -125 over this decent Nationals team
Also,with the Indians...They opened up at -113 on the over night and got jacked up to -125 with the public on the Nationals 62%.
With the Twins....The public is split on this game 50/50...But the Twins opened up at -125 on the over night and got jacked up to -145....20 cent hike....I like to think smart money was put on the Twins to move this line 20 cents.....Then again,its not too often you see a 1st place team in the Braves and the better pitcher in Tim Hudson 6-1 with a 2.44 era get off at +136.....I can see this line moving 20 cents if the public was heavy on the Twins....But like i said its 50/50.
