tulsa (+7.5) over hawaii

*hawaii coming off a very circuitous road trip. from idaho to illinois to texas and now back to the island. almost an nba-type road trip there. i think the bows will be showing some signs of fatigue in this one. aside from that theyre just not playing well at all. tulsa has been lame lately but i like the way they match up with hawaii. bows not good enough in certain areas to exploit tulsa (tulsa weak on the glass but hawaii not good themselves). golden hurricane well rested, as they havent played since the 1st half of the gonzaga game last saturday. parker played well vs the bows in the 1st meeting- gonna need that kind of effort again here. tulsa covers with a shot to win outright.

already lookin ahead to saturday ;)
hello rhode island!

yeah just saw 9.5 at pinnacle as well. i told myself i would play anything better than rhode island +6.5/7. knew the line wouldnt open that low, but still feel like rams will be in this game the entire 40:00. been waiting for this game for a month. not hammering it, but just feel its a good play for saturday among others im sure

Which way do you think line moves? Thinking has to move up, and if so, should be able to get 10 or 10.5

I really like a couple of dogs tomorrow, RI being one and Buffalo the other. The Buffalo play is much more than a knee jerk reaction in respect to the Kent win. The Bulls have become a pretty damn good team. I believe that they have won at least 4 in a row on the road and the Bulls are truely starting to believe in themselves. The trip to Miami will be indeed a good gut check for the bulls. I think they pass the test.

RI opens at 9'. I like the Rams because they seem to have righted the ship after faltering badly in Jan- early Feb. The place should be rockin' and RI knows that a win here will make it very difficult to ignore them come selection sunday. The rams held their own at St. Joe and once again should own the glass.

Taking the night off, good luck with Tulsa.

id like to assume it goes up (and i hope it does) to around 10/10.5. after all, theyve been a covering machine lately. but you never know for sure. maybe some sharper money comes in on rhode island. rams beat joes outright here last year and to me, this is definitely the toughest game joes has played probably since the california game on the road in mid-december.

one thing that i do think is significant is that the early offshore line is 9.5 .i dont know what the true opening number was but im a believer that the 9.5 was hung there for a reason (to make joes more appealing as a single-digit chalk). i think they could have easily opened joes at 10. theres a psychological difference, almost a 'sticker shock' kind of effect when it comes to the number 9.5 and 10 in college hoops (and to a lesser degree 19.5 and 20). 10 just seems a lot higher than 9.5 (psychologically). 10 sometimes gives the impression of a mismatch. 9.5 gives the initial impression of what could be a competitive game

i cant remember the last time the cavs have won in orlando. i guess that im just still pessimistic when it comes to the cavs. tough to explain. i want them to do well, but it seems whenever they start showing signs of promise, they fall flat on their face. ive done very well betting them in the right spots this year. ill be watching, but not playing this one. theyre still shady on the road.

i am not currently on yahoo messenger but i do have instant messenger.

Cadavers were feeble against the Rockets the other night. But i see that LeBron is already getting the MJ-like BS calls.

What are the Big 12 lines tomorrow - I may have something special for you.

i'll make a case for the rainbows, for the sake of discussion. yes, long road trip for the 'bows, but they've been back on the island for three days now - longer than tulsa. they're far more use to the long road than tulsa, and the island distraction issue is always there. read in the honolulu paper that tulsa was unable to practice yesterday because of a scheduled varsity volleyball on the court. what do you think the kids did with the day off - hung out at the hotel and thought about the game? golden hurricane gives me the impression they might have packed it in for the year' - 1-11 s/u, 3-6-1 ats on the road; lost 9 of last ten (beat san jose st), 2-7-1 ats in that span.

my first reaction when i saw the line was to play hawaii. not committed to the play after digesting your take and others, but i think i'm hung betwee the rainbows or nothing, fwiw.
