Royals +225 for 4* - Rasner finally got knocked around his last outing and the Royals are bad, but +225 bad vs. Rasner? I'll take my chances. The Royals bullpen rested last night in general as only Peralta pitched. Yankees middle relief has been atrocious and how much value can you find laying -245 odds with a .500 club? If KC keeps this game close early, I like their chances to pull the SHOCKER!:0corn

Tampa Bay -130 for 4* - Huge public play, but really like Kazmir and have been riding him for awhile now. A little hesitant after TBay's woeful performance in Boston, but Padilla should get hit and Devil Rays should get back on track.

Anaheim -105 for 4* - Both teams are hot right now, but Lackey is the far better SP and should win this game.

San Francisco -110 for 4* - Nationals middle relief and relief pitching is terrible and if Lincecum keeps his pitch count down, this should be a win for SF.

Brewers -140 for 4* - Sheets is pitching well, the Brewers are playing well, and Jimenez has SUCKED all season. Looks too easy, but I'll bite.

Cubs +110 for 4* - Gallagher has impressed me in recent starts and Dodgers are free falling. I don't like catching falling knives.

Adding:
Twins +170 for 4* - Pure value play as the White Sox aren't hitting the ball that well. Twins need this game and Blackburn has been solid.

Can you elaborate Simon? Which plays are sucker wagers?

I feel much more confident in my plays after seeing your post.

Well this sucker is coming off a 5-1 day in bases and I've been hitting about 75% this week. Hopefully some of these suckers are winners tonight!:00hour

That would be KC vs NY

Go ahead an throw your money out of boredom on a team that is 11-21 on the road.

Last time I saw that is 34.375% of the Royals winning on the road.

AND they are on a 3 games slide.

It's either the Yanks or no play.

But you've seemed to capped the game your way.

Well Simon, I win 9* betting 4* on the Royals. If I want to win 9* on your beloved Yankees, I have to lay 22.05* based on the -245 at my book.

So 4* on the Royals or over 22* on the Yankees???

I'll take my chances with the HUGE dog in this circumstance. If the Royals win, I look like a genius. If they lose, big deal... hopefully my other wagers win. After all, how pumped up will the Pinstripes get for the Royals???

Also, if the Royals win this game 1 of 3 times, I still make money in case you didn't know.

Thanks for the awesome replies. Still can't believe the Royals won, but made a 4-3 +7.4 night... Brewers loss stung as I thought they were a winner... 4-1 bottom of the 8th and you lose... OUCH!

Still, I would rather be sucker city anyday as the Royals proved my point. Simon, You have to take Large Dogs when they have value to win in the long run playing baseball. Royals probably lose that game 70% of the time, but Yankees weren't excited, expected to win, and couldn't get the clutch hits when they needed them. Baseball players are human and the Yankees will probably be a great play tomorrow (although be careful with BB's normal day numbers).
