Tough to watch that TD by Cal. I saw it live but even on the replay...announcer Rod Gilmore talks about the play and a key block
The def end completely over-ran the play. That's the only reason it worked. His job is to stay as deep as the deepest back but of course he's big and fast so just chase the ball.
And Gilmore "should" know better but doesn't have a clue.
